About Me - Kate

Bubbles Essential Wellbeing was founded by Kate Watt in 2008. Kate’s interest in creating beauty products began while she was studying beauty therapy at the Gold Coast Training Academy in 2005. It was during a three-day Introduction to Aromatherapy module that Kate had her ‘lightbulb moment’. She realised she was completely hooked and had found her calling. She paid a deposit for the Aromatherapy Diploma that day and, unknowingly at the time, the foundation stone for Bubbles was laid.

With both diplomas earned, Kate was equipped with an extensive knowledge of raw ingredients and essential oils, as well as the anatomy and physiology of the skin, which gave her the right theory to start producing her own skincare range. Hungry for even more knowledge, Kate completed several additional short courses with leading industry companies specialising in formulating natural and organic skincare products.

For the past three years, Kate has been researching and formulating her own range of natural and organic products. All along, it has been of the utmost importance to her that her products were as natural as possible, that the ingredients used would produce positive results and that the products would look and feel incredible. They also needed to be affordable. Kate is confident that she has gone to market with a range that satisfies all of these requirements – and she is sure you will agree. As Bubbles continues to grow, Kate has been delighted to welcome her sister to the business and she will be starting as its first Bubbles home party consultant early in 2011.

In her other life, Kate is happily married and a very proud mum to son Kye and daughter Emerson. She lives with her family in the Tamborine area, in the Gold Coast hinterland.

We choose to use certified organic, premium natural and plant-derived ingredients that will replenish your skin, promote skin resilience and strength and smell incredible with pure essential oils that invoke the senses and invigorate the soul.

We aim to provide ongoing factual and educational information that improves your skincare knowledge and encourages better skin health and consideration. We will always remain approachable and will continue to provide feedback and advice with a level of service that not only meets your expectations, but exceeds them.

We use recycled stationery and recyclable packaging wherever possible and we are cruelty free in every sense of the word. We are proud to be Australian owned and run and will continue to exclusively source our skincare ingredients from other Australian-owned companies who are also environmentally aware and conscious.
